ABSTRACT
Injuries by pneumatic weapons have an important place in a health system statistics, however, sometimes the cases are not reported as legal because even exist a wrong idea about it’s legal uses and restrictions in Mexico. Between the varieties of this kind of injuries, that caused to the paranasal sinuses occuped an especial place because they are uncommon, fortunately there are a few cases reported with successful outcome. We present an 8-year-old male who suffered an injury to the paranasal sinuses with a pellet air gun. The pneumatic weapons must be used carefully between the pediatric population, because of the high morbidity and mortality. This is an important public health problem and is increasing around the world.
