ABSTRACT
The clinical practice implies to establish a diagnosis, a prognosis and a treatment. Prognosis refers to the possible outcomes of a disease and the frequency with which they can be expected to occur. The clinical experience, the epidemic information and the statistical probability are elements to establish a good prognosis and to minimize the uncertainty. The report is a brief guide that summarizes the understanding prognosis studies and its analysis according to the evidence based medicine. Both elements will be useful for investigation and the clinical practice.REFERENCES
