ABSTRACT
Evidence-based medicine (EBM) is the integration of best research evidence with clinical expertise and patient values. This review is an introduction to evidence based medicine. There are been exposed the motives that support the importance of its divulgation, the paradigmatic change of Clinical Practice Quality concept and the real necessity of choosing evidence based clinical decisions. It is also approached the correct construction of a clinical question with PICO method, recognizing each part, as a short review of the search resources.
