ABSTRACT
Neurobrucellosis in children adopts varied clinical presentations. We present a patient with meningeal syndrome, neurological deterioration and laboratory tests that confirm neurobrucellosis. Triple antibiotic therapy was given with good outcome. Prognosis is good in children with adequate treatment. We suggest that in endemic areas the disease be ruled out in patients with neurological deficits of undetermined origin even if the patient has no previous history of exposure.
