ABSTRACT
The neuronal migration disorders (NMDs) comprise a group of developmental structural lesions characterized by disorganization of cortical architecture. Cerebral cortex malformations are frequently knows as cause of: epilepsy, developmental delay, neurological deficit and mental delay. This report reviews the schizencephaly and the experience of the authors in the management of one case of this
disease.
