ABSTRACT
Cytomegalovirus disease is common in the Mexican population, in general with 80% of survival, but in adults is asymptomatic and when present in children tends to be acute and self-limited course. However, in this patient was aggressive conditioning fulminant hepatic failure and death of the patient, showing that the patient does not have any immunodeficiency. Diagnosis is confirmed by serology and bone marrow aspiration.
