ABSTRACT
In last decade, concern by the bone loss of
the glenoid cavity when surgical repair to
avoid glenohumeral instability is planned,
has grown. The
glenoides deficiency lies in
a limited concavity- compression mechanism
and glenoid arc length diminished, resulting
in a width mismatch leads to glenohumeral
instability. To avoid this problem, the authors
propose the implementation of a graft, taken
from the iliac crest, «J» shaped and inserted
by press fit by beneath the articular surface
of glenoid cavity which addresses the bone
loss. By Kendall correlation coefficient, it has
proven the effectiveness of this technique.
