ABSTRACT
Treatment with interferon alpha or interferon alpha plus ribavirin in patients with chronic hepatitis C frequenty cause cutaneous local side effects limited to the injection sites. Distant or generalized eczematous reactions are rare. However, distant lesions may increase with the use of pegylated interferons alpha.
