ABSTRACT
At present, it is necessary to define very precisely the objective of Public Health and its limitations because throughout its history there have been variations in the definition and scope of Public Health. Public Health is a multidisciplinary field in which many human activities come together but no one can deny that its goal is to raise the level of the health of a community through activities applied to the environment, while medical care is a discipline that searches to elevate the level of the health of a person by means of actions directed toward the individual, this field the responsibility of the medical profession. Even though both are different fields, they should be coordinated to achieve the best results.
