BCGitis in an infant with acquired immunodeficiency.

ABSTRACT

The increase of inmigrant children’s population in Spain has conditioned the reappearance of rare pathology in our environment. A nine months-old child, natural of Sub-Saharan Africa who was diagnosticated of HIV primoinfection is presented. During his admission he developed a local complication of BCG vaccine, included in the national vaccines programs. Furthermore we describe situation and preventive and control tools of tuberculosis and HIV-infection in those countries where are important health problems.
