ABSTRACT
Hereditary Ichthyosis is a rare heterogeneous cornification disorder that involves evident superficial diffuse desquamation with a recessive or dominant inheritance pattern sometimes associated with internal disease; it is uncommon in dermatology on a daily basis. Even more infrequent are the neonate severe ichthyosis, collodion baby and harlequin ichthyosis. It is important that pediatricians, neonatologists and dermatologists identify clinical signs, course evolution and therapeutic approach due to its morbility and mortality rates.
