ABSTRACT
Wolf isotopic response is composed by diverse dermatologic processes that appear as a new disease in the same site as other, non-related, and already healed. It appears more frequently after herpes zoster. It can be infectious, granulomatosus or of tumor origin. It can be seen on diabetic patients, immunosuppressed with neoplasm or human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection, but there are other patients who do not have a subjacent disease. The interval between the first and second affection is variable, could be days or years, and diverse pathophysiologic explanations are still controversial.
