ABSTRACT
Tigecycline is a novel glicylcicline, its structure is related with tetracyclines, tetracycline induced pancreatitis is a well known adverse reaction, the increase in the use of tigecycline has heightened the need for monitoring for adverse reactions. For tigecycline, we only found two cases reported on literature, here we present a case with suspected tigecycline-induced pancreatitis. Psysichian should be aware of this reaction.
