ABSTRACT
The esophagic tuberculosis is quite rare presentation of this disease. The difficulty in its identification and diagnosis might be ascribed to the confusing symptoms presented by such disease that could mislead to common esophagus pathologies. This is a clinical case concerning an HIV positive 32 years old male patient, starting with 20kg pondered loss in 3 months, fever, epigastrium burning pain, odinophagia and dysphagia, first being solid to become liquid state. Endoscope takes place showing two existing oval ulcers in esophagus that extend to 5cm, presenting irregular edges, approximately together having each one an orifice, being the inferior one’s deeper, the baritaded esophagogram confirms fistulous way. Biopsies taken and the stain matched esophageal tuberculosis. The patients had a good reaction to antifimic treatment. Nevertheless the uncommon aspect of such pathology, it is of great importance showing its clinic so in result of vague symptomatology it is necessary to realize differential diagnosis with other diseases.
