ABSTRACT

The cosmetic surgeries have been increased in the last years; it is common those are realized by not qualified persons with obsolete products contraindicated as injectable materials. Most provokes local alterations with incorrigible deformities or systemic complications being able to cause the death. We report the case of women of 22 year old with massive embolism, secondary to injection of polypropylene to increase mammary volume.
