ABSTRACT

Intestinal Tuberculosis it’s a illness caused by Mycobacterium Tuberculosis and occasionally by <¡>Mycobacterium bovis. The last years it was recognized the growing up incidence of news cases not only on underdeveloped nations because of the margination. The extreme poverty and under nourishment as the principal factors of risk, also in developed countries where the immigration, AIDS and the phenomenon of resistance to tuberculostatics pharmacos could be determinant factors for the reappearing of this pathology. As follows we are going to present a case of a patient who were in the hospital in the emergency service with a clinic manifestations radiological compatible with intestinal occlusion, who were submitted to exploring laparatomy and intestinal resection with histopathologyc report of intestinal tuberculosis.
