ABSTRACT
The advent of modern cabinet resources like digital radiology, computerized axial tomography (CAT), magnetic resonance (MR) and the echosonography, have helped the better understanding of thoracolumbar, spinal fractures. The clinical interrogatory, when possible, and exploration of the patient are essential in the diagnosis of this fractures, but these studies are helpful, overall, to determine injuries of soft tissues surrounding it and to diagnose the instability degree, leading surgeons to decide the most appropriate treatment.
