ABSTRACT
Myasis is an infestation of the living tissue by the larvae of flies in the order Diptera,
Dermatobia hominis species. Cutaneous myasis can be subdivided into furunculoide, migratory and wound myasis. We present the case of a 40 year old female patient with an atypical presentation of myasis because she had many furunculoid subcutaneous neoformations associated with a recent trip to Chiapas and Quintana Roo, Mexico.
