Lichen myxedematosus is a disorder characterized by lichenoid papules, nodules or plaques due to mucin dermal deposition, and a variable degree of fibrosis without thyroid dysfunction associated. Pathogenesis is unclear. We report a case of nodular lichen myxedematosus, a rare subtype of mucinosis, which is characterized by the presence of multiple nodules on limbs and trunk with mild or absent papular eruption, usually without thyroid dysfunction. Mucin is deposited in the dermis with variable degree of fibrosis.
