ABSTRACT
The aim of this population genetic study was to know if the genetic structure of three mexican mestizo populations based on the HLA-A system was genetically homogeneous. Besides of the allelic frequencies of the Mexican populations (States of Nuevo León, Jalisco and Federal District), were included Latino American, Caucasian, and African populations. The multivariate analysis of principal components showed that the HLA-A system for these Mexican populations were genetically homogeneous and that the forensic parameters can be used into the legal system and in the association with some diseases.
