A clinical and morphological description of a general nodular dermatofibrosis, associated to bilateral renal cystadenocarcinoma, is described. This case was found in a 10 year old Belgian Shepherd crossbred bitch. The animal presented multiple firm cutaneous nodules composed of dense well differentiated collagen tissue in the head and forelimbs. This problem had started five years ago. The presence of cystic tumors in both kidneys with metastases to the liver, peritoneal surfaces, regional lymph nodes, spleen, adrenal glands and lungs were also detected. Cited literature was consulted and therefore, the possible associations of the lesions, the pathogeny and the relation with other comparable syndromes in human beings to this case, are discussed.
