ABSTRACT
We present the clinical case of a three years old male with recurrent infection and allergic rhinitis. The serum levels of IgA were of 13 mg/dL. The patient have a normal level then a year polyvalent bacterial vaccine administration. The clinical improvement correlated with the increase of serum IgA. The recurrent infection started when he received diphenylhydantoin for the treatment of feverish convulse breakdown. The patient has HLA-A2. This is associated to down levels of serum-IgA and anticonvulsant administration.
