ABSTRACT
The asthma is a common illness in the children and its prevalence in this group it has increased. The reasons for this increment are not clear, for what there is not doubt that the asthma is now a problem of health to consider. Fortunately, the knowledge on the physiopathogenic of the asthma is also bigger. It is well known that the asthma is an illness inflammatory chronicle, regulated by a variety of mediators, where the leukotrienes are some of the most important. For that the inhibition or these mediators’ blockade is of supreme importance in the therapeutic of the asthmatic illness. Presently article the characteristic pharmacological and their applications of the diverse existent antileukotrienes are described at the present time.
