A case report of radial nerve paralysis in a 3 year old Shih-Tzu which suffered a car accident, presenting main lesions located in the thoracic region and the left shoulder, is presented. After one month, the lesion had progressed to a complete loss of motor, sensorial and propioceptive functions. It was then treated with traditional Chinese medicine using the procedure called "fire needling" twice with an interval of one week. After five weeks from the initial treatment, complete motor and sensorial functions were regained. Due to the easiness of the treatment, its use in experimental clinical cases, is here suggested.REFERENCES
