ABSTRACT

The electrocardiographic upheavals in subarachnoid hemorrhage are well known. I realized a retrospective, cross-sectional, descriptive, observational study in 83 patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage with changes in the electrocardiogram, that enter in the Service of Emergency service of the Hospital Regional General Ignacio Zaragoza. The distribution of the patients according to the age reflected that is more frequent in women in 70%. The more frequent electrocardiographic alterations were the sinusal tachycardia with 45%, followed of ventricular extrasistoles 35%, inverted wave T 10% and ST elevation 10%. The 8 patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage with ST elevation observed that they presented a survival of 72 hours.
