ABSTRACT
Regulations and standards governing the use of blood and other associated therapies have as main objective to protect and minimize the risk to patients and society, and government regulatory agencies have to cope with advances in technology. Thus, blood and other tissue room activities give rise to many legal issues in order to provide the best products and services to its population.
