ABSTRACT
The objective of this study was to use autologus plasma rich in growth factors in order to enhance surgical response, by stimulating repair mechanisms, with the technique of tissular and osseus regeneration, developed by Biotechnology Institute SL. This is a protein obtention system, from the own blood of the patient moments before using it. A case report of a 3 by 4 cm in diameter odontoma compositum in the anterior alveolar process of the maxillary, and the retention of the left superior central dental organ, which were both enucleated is presented. At the site of the surgical defect, plasma rich in growth factors (PRGF) was deposited, along with reabsorbable hidroxiapatite graft material, observing a better management and a better healing time of the wound.
