Cavernous Hemangioma of renal pelvis. A case

ABSTRACT

Hemangiomas are benign blood vessels malformations frequently found in breast-feeding and childhood; their principal varieties being the capillary and the cavernous ones. A 56-year-old-patient case is presented in whose hematuria laboratory studies a right renal pelvis tumor was diagnosed with the help of ultrasounds and axial computed tomography scannings. A nephro-ureterectomy with partial perimeatal cystectomy is performed on that side. The tumor histopathological report was: cavernous hemangioma. The patient’s evolution has been satisfactory. There is no similar report on this type of lesion on that site in the medical literature consulted.
