ABSTRACT
Left subclavian arterial aneurysms are rare. Them most common causes are related with atherosclerosis and traumatisms. Symptoms include: thoracic pain, and neurological alterations due compression, but some patients are asymptomatic. Aneurysms can be detected in image studies for other pathologies. Its treatment is based on endoprosthesis or surgery resection. We report a case of a 55 years old man with history of a superficial firearm injury on left subscapular region. He attends to medical service with long time thoracic pain, secondary to a left subclavian artery aneurysm.
