Chronic maternal thrombocytopenic purpura. Repercussion in newborn

ABSTRACT
We report two cases of newborn, which got thrombocytopenia autoimmune after birth. In the first case, the mother had the antecedent of thrombocytopenic idiopathic purple (PTI) plus splenectomy, and in the other newborn, the mother, was known with Chronicle Purple without splenectomy. The determination of anti-body anti-plaquet (fraction IIb-llla) were positives in the newborn. After treatment with human intravenous immunoglobulin (IgIV) during five continuous days, the cipher of plaquets grown to normal levels. Any patient has presented neurological sequels.
