ABSTRACT
This past November 3rd, a brigade of volunteer doctors went to the state of Tabasco. This came as a response to the natural disaster which occurred in that state. With it the School of Medicine and the “Dr. José E. González” University Hospital honored the compromise the Autonomous University of Nuevo León has with society. It also revealed the importance this has in the formative process of a physician, who should have a high spirit of devotion and humanitarism. The next pages will narrate the experience lived by the members of the “UH Immediate Response Brigade” in the state of Tabasco.
