ABSTRACT
There are many surgical techniques to correct the microtic ear; but basically Brent and Nagata’s techniques has contributed the most to improve results in the correction of microtic ear, however, one factor that regulates the end results are the initial conditions and the surgical skills in the carving of the cartilaginous frame. These techniques of ear reconstruction are difficult to reproduce. Usually in conventional techniques the first steps of reconstruction only provide two dimensions limited by the cutaneous pocket recreated in the microtical area involving a second operation for the projection of this 2-dimension cartilaginous frame involving cartilaginous grafts, temporoparietal flaps and skin grafts for the covering and the recreation of the auricle-cephalic space producing more scars, increasing surgical time and surgical procedures with loss of sensation in the retroauricular area. The technique presented gives unique characteristics because the frame has height, depth, width and some degree of movement, projecting the neo-ear from the beginning giving appearance in three dimensions recreating the auricle-cephalic space without having subsequent surgery providing good aesthetic results.REFERENCES
