ABSTRACT
The pourpose of this study is to demostrate the usefulness of the Dega acetabuloplasty for the anterior, lateral and posterior acetabular deficiency in the treatment of developmental dysplasia and paralytic dislocation of the hip.
The advantages over other procedures are that this acetabuloplasty does not depend on the triradiade cartílage as a hinge, and that offers a different option of coverage during surgery independent to the acetabulat index or the direction of the roof deficiency.
