ABSTRACT
We present the results of a series of 37 patients (42 hips), on which we performed open reduction and Salter. innonimate osteotomy. The incidence of avascular necrosis was 33.3% (14 hips), 13 of which were Kalamchi type I and 1 Kalamchi type II. There were no redislocated hips and only one subluxated hip due to femoral anteversion.
