Brain stem hemorrage secundary to supratentorial surgery

ABSTRACT
The infratentorial hemorrhage is an uncomun complication of supratentorial drainaje from chronic subdural hematoma. When this complication appear the outcome is catastrophic. We report a patient who was operated for drain a supratentorial chronic subdural hematoma and was complicated with a brain stem hemorrhage with a fatal outcome.
