Myths and Science: Clinical Lycanthropy and Werewolves

ABSTRACT
Lycanthropy: although the term is used to describe the change from man to wolf, this term is used to describe metamorphosis into any animal form. Clinical lycanthropy is currently described like a rare psychiatric condition in which the patient believes in his anatomic transformation into an animal.
