ABSTRACT
A five-year-old boy attended to our Hospital referring left acute and painful proptosis with palpebral chemosis.
The patient had a history of trauma one-month before his admission and visited a physician who indicated an orbital tomography and MRI study, which revealed a non-specific orbital mass.
After a complete pediatric and ophthalmic evaluation, he was studied at our Echography Service considering a diagnosis of "Orbital lymphangioma with internal bleeding".
Orbital surgery was indicated and the lesion was excised. Histopathological analysis disclosed the diagnosis of orbital lymphangioma with internal bleeding.
