ABSTRACT
Birdshot chorioretinopathy is a rare, chronic, bilateral disease that affects between the 4th and 6th decade of life, usually in Caucasian women, associated with HLA A-29 in 95.7% of the cases. This chorioretinopathy is characterized by the presentation of cream-colored patches with a birdshot pattern, typically less than a disc diameter in size, spread through the posterior pole, along with papilledema, retinal vessel thinning in cystoid macular edema.REFERENCES
