ABSTRACT
A review of the clinical features of divergence insufficiency and divergence paralysis is made, which usually have an esotropia at far distance gaze with diplopia. We emphasis that in divergence paralysis a neurological damage is generally present, although not always shown in an image analysis. We mention treatment, prognosis and authors’ experience in each one of them.
