Ondasetrón vs Metoclopramida en pacientes que son sometidos a endoscopia.

ABSTRACT

Objetive: Determine the effectiveness of the ondansetrón versus the treatment with metoclopramide how prophylactic of nausea and vomit in the patients that was undergoing to endoscopy. Material and Methods: To realized a trial controlled c1inic in patients membership of IMSS. with aged over 30-60 years undergoing to endoscopy and broncoscopy under intravenous sedation with fentanyl SO mcg, intravenous and midazolam I mg. Intravenous divided in two groups the group I (n=20) to received ondansetron to one dose of 4 mg. Intravenous, the group 11 was received metoclopramide 10 mgs intravenous. Evaluating: nausea and vomit, with visual analogous scale, blood pressure and cardiac frequency.ln the statical analysis descriptive was used chi-squared test and t of student for valored the statistic significant. Results: The sistolyc pressure blood Group 1: basal condition I 16 ± I l. Postoperative 116 ± 9.2. Group 11 basal condition 64.S ± S.8. Postoperative 128 ± I no statistic significant (P› O.OS).The diastolyc pressure blood: Group 1: basal condition 64.S ± S.8 mmHg. Postoperative 77 ± 6.1 mmHg. Group 11: basal 78.S ± S.1 mmHg. Postoperative 83 ± S.3 mmHg. The nausea reported for the group 1: mild 3 (IS%), moderate 2 (10%), severe=O. Vomiting group 1: mild I (IS%), moderate and severe=O. Not statistic significant (P› O.OS). Discussian: Ondansetron and the metoclopramide inhibited the nausea and vomit in shape adequate with hemodynamic stability no side effects.
