ABSTRACT
All the patients that enter to obstetric room require potentially it anesthetizes, either planned or like to situation of urgency. Therefore the anesthesiologist should have conscience of the presence and history pertinent of all the patients in the room. Although in most of the cases it is preferable the regional anesthesia, the election among regional and general anesthesia should be individualized of agreement to each patient, the anesthesiologist and the surgery type. The consent should be with information to assure that the patient and the relatives have enough information about the procedures and their risks. The purpose of the visit non-alone preparatory is to obtain information. Important and the consent with information, also help to establish to relationship prescribes - patient. Also, it has been seen that an interview driven in form emphatic that gives. Answer to important questions and that it allows that the patient and their relatives know what you/they do wait. Finally, an appropriate communication anesthesiology - patient and a detailed Information increased the patient´s trust and that of its relatives.
