ABSTRACT
Right-ventricle dysfunction is an entity that is frequently presented at the postoperative period in pediatric cardiovascular surgery of Fallot’s tetralogy correction, due to the ventriculostomy performed during the surgical process. The diagnosis is performed through invasive and non-invasive methods, and its treatment is conducted to improve the heart expense determinants. The infirmary intervention is crucial for the patient’s evolution. In this case study, four phases of attention are proposed: evaluating signs of right-ventricle dysfunction, executing interventions to minimize such a dysfunction effects, collaborating with that entity treatment, and the constant evaluation of the patient. Nine infirmary diagnosis were managed, with precise objectives and specific interventions that were carried out according to the presentation of the patient’s manifestations in this study.REFERENCES
