ABSTRACT
Hemodynamics monitoring is a group of parameters and calculations that allow the watchfulness through the right cardiac catheterization; offering direct means to evaluate the patient’s evolution and his/her response when facing liquid or drug administration. Therefore, the proper diagnosis method management and an efficient intervention are elementary for the development of an accurate therapy. Objective: To identify the degree of efficiency carried out by the infirmary personnel when performing the hemodynamics profile measurement in intensive-care units. Creating a quality standard in order to measure the hemodynamics profile performed by infirmary. Methodology: A transversal, descriptive, an observational study was carried out with an on purpose tool consisting of sixteen variables, with three-point ponderable values with relation to critical activities; two of them for the essential ones and the other one for the necessary activities, with a total value of 29 points. This procedure was validated through the Crombach’s test with an alpha of 0.6, applied to 292 cases. Results: An index of 70% of global efficiency was obtained, which was situated on a minimum achievement standard, as well as the essential and necessary activities with a 73.48 and 44.92% respectively, and a percentage of 81.28% with regard to the critical activities.REFERENCES
