Nursing interventions in the advanced management of wounds by means of vacuum-assisted therapy

ABSTRACT
The unification of criteria and the establishment of a directory of nursing care in the installation and operation of the vacuum-assisted therapy will allow us to provide quality care to the patient who present with alteration of the integrity of skin and tissue. The recent introduction of treating wounds with negative pressure, the couple offers new potential treatment of various injuries, which integrates easily available means for its accessibility and its application, optimizing care and reducing the costs to promote faster healing, the fewer dressing changes, less time spent by nurses and fewer hospital stay.
