ABSTRACT

Right ventricle is a structurally and functionally complex chamber whose relevance was underestimated in the past. Several experimental and clinical studies have shown right ventricle particularities in normal and pathological conditions emphasizing its prognostic role. Non-invasive methods are useful in diagnosis and stratification of clinical circumstances affecting right ventricle.
