ABSTRACT
The HIV infection is present all around the world, with the recent medical advances the disease has become a chronic disease, there are many drugs involved in the treatment, in order to that a lot of drugs interactions are present, that increases the adverse drug reactions, Trimetoprim and Sulfametoxazol is a very useful antibiotic in the treatment and prophylaxis for Pneumocistii jirovechi infection. The patients who develop AIDS not only had immunosuppression they also have more incidence of allergic, autoimmune and oncologic disease. In this paper we report two cases that had cutaneous adverse reaction to Trimetoprim/Sulfametoxazol and underwent desensitization regimens with excellent results, as far as we know, one of our patients is the younger patient reported.
