ABSTRACT
Introduction. The odontogenic adenomatoid tumor (AOT) is a benign odontogenic epithelial tumoral lesion, also considered as a hamarthomatous proliferation which affects mainly the anterior maxilla, it is frequently associated to impacted teeth (more frequently the canine) and has predilection for young females.
Clinical case. We present a case of an AOT in a 16 year-old-female patient, which was located in the anterior maxilla, and was associated to an impacted canine. Clinical, radiological and histopathologic aspects of the lesion, as well as surgical management are presented.
