ABSTRACT
Pityriasis versicolor is a frequent dermatosis in tropical and subtropical climates, it accounts for 32% of superficial mycoses. It is more frequent in young people and adult, with predominance in men. Nowadays, seven species of
Malassezia are considered causal agents, the most frequent is
Malassezia globosa. We communicated one case of pitiriasis versicolor varieted hyperchromic.
