ABSTRACT

Chromomycosis is a subcutaneous mycosis which was first described in Brazil, in 1911 and Initially diagnosed in 1940 in Mexico. Of all the subcutaneous mycosis. In our country, reaches the third place in frequency (6 %) subcutaneous mycosis, after of the micetoma and sporotrichosis. We present the case of a 80 year old male patient with chromomycosis.
