ABSTRACT
Intubation by using fibroendoscopy is a safe technique, particularly in cases in which carrying out this procedure through conventional laryngoscopy is difficult or almost impossible. Fibroendoscopy is an effective alternative for traumatic tracheal intubation in patients with difficult airway in which performing tracheotomy could be indicated despite of its risks. Intubation using fibroendoscopy is a recommended procedure that allows to no traumatizing the airways and can even save the life of the patient.
